Nora Harhen
Hi, I'm Nora! I'm a post doc at NYU working with Cate Hartley. I use computational modeling and behavioral experiments to understand how early life experiences shape learning, memory, and decision making into adulthood — particularly in ways that make some individuals more susceptible to developing mental illness than others.
I recently completed my PhD at UC Irvine where I worked with Aaron Bornstein. Prior to grad school, I was a lab manager at Johns Hopkins with Marina Bedny. And before that, I got a BA in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley where I worked with Anne Collins.
